Visva Bharati Recruitment 2025 for Deputy Registrars

Visva-Bharati, a Central University in Santiniketan, West Bengal, has issued recruitment notification Advt. No. 05/2025 for the post of Deputy Registrar. This is a senior administrative position, and the University is inviting applications from qualified candidates with a Master’s Degree and relevant experience. The application process is online via the Samarth Portal, and the last date to apply is 30th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
• At least 5 years of experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post in academic administration.

Salary

• Pay Level 12 as per 7th CPC along with other applicable allowances.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 50 years as on 30th September 2025.
• Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process

• Written Test (Paper I & II) – 70% weightage
• Interview / Personality Test – 30% weightage

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further stages of the selection process.
