Visva Bharati Recruitment 2025 for Junior Engineer

Visva-Bharati, a Central University in Santiniketan, West Bengal, has released Advt. No. 05/2025 inviting online applications for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil). Candidates with a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering and relevant work experience are eligible to apply. The recruitment process is being conducted through the official Samarth Portal, and the last date to apply is 30th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering with 1 year experience
  OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience

Salary

• Pay Level 6 as per 7th CPC along with standard allowances.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 35 years as on 30th September 2025
• Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per Government of India norms.

Application Fee

(Payment to be made online through the Samarth Portal.)

Selection Process

• Written Test (Paper I & II) – 70% weightage
• Interview / Personality Test – 30% weightage

The final selection will be based on combined performance in the written test and personality assessment.
