Visva Bharati Recruitment 2025 for Librarian (Granthagarika)

Visva-Bharati, a Central University located in Santiniketan, West Bengal, has released its recruitment notification (Advt. No. 05/2025) for the post of Librarian (Granthagarika). Eligible candidates with a Master’s Degree in Library Science and significant experience can apply online through the Samarth Portal. The last date for application submission is 30th September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

• Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Librarian in a University or similar institution.

Salary

• Academic Level 14 as per 7th CPC, including other admissible allowances.

Age Limit

• No upper age limit specified for academic posts under UGC Regulations.
• Candidates should meet experience and qualification criteria as on 30th September 2025.
